What information do I need to provide when registering? |
|
|
During the registration process, you will first be asked to supply a valid e-mail Address, company name, company phone number, company fax number, and company ZIP code (also known as the key identifier) which will be used to identify you. Once this step is completed, you can then create a user name by providing your E-Mail address and password. You will also be asked to select a hint question and answer which will be used to further identify you in the event you forget your password. |

No. Only one user name is allowed per customer. |

Can I change my password once it's created? |
|
|
Yes. Once you create your password, you can change your password at any time by logging into the site and selecting the "Change Password" function. You can also change your hint answer and question. |

What if I forget my password? |
|
|
If you can't remember your password, you can reset it by selecting the "Forgot Password?" This will allow you to reset your password online. You will need to enter in some information requested when you first created your password and to provide the answer to the hint question you selected at registration. |

No. Once you create your user name, you will not be able to change it. |

What are the hint question and answer? |
|
|
The hint question and answer are used to help identify you in the event you forget your password. You can reset your password, to a new password, after you provide the answer to the question you selected at registration. If you answer your question correctly, your password will be reset to a new password, and you can immediately log in with it. However, after logging in with this new password, we recommend that you change it to something that is easier for you to remember. You can do this by selecting the "Change Password" function. |

What if I can't answer my hint question correctly? |
|
|
If you are unable to answer your hint question correctly, you can request that Countrywide reset your password and mail it via U.S. Postal Service to the mailing address on record for the key account you registered with. As a security precaution, no one at Countrywide can provide you with your password or hint question and answer. Please note that it may take up to 10 business days to receive your new password if we have to mail it. Do not request to have your password reset and mailed to you again until this time period has elapsed as any additional requests will delay your ability to access the site. |

What is an attorney number? |
|
|
An attorney number is used for Foreclosure or Bankruptcy Attorneys. If you do not have an attorney number, you may obtain one from Countrywide's Foreclosure or Bankruptcy Department. |

What is a Tax ID Number? |
|
|
Countrywide requires a Tax ID number (also known as a Federal Employer Identification number and Employer Identification Number) to start conducting business. The TAX ID Number is also necessary to secure your identity in case you forget your password. This may not apply to your particular business account with Countrywide. |

What is a Broker ID? |
|
|
A broker id is used by brokers/agents who login to view their assigned properties as well as accept or decline new property assignments. If you do not know your broker id, you may request it by sending an email to REMBrokerCommunication@Countrywide.com. |
